hi mudd ty 4 your advice i have no intention of resigning as i need the money i have sent off a letter to the cleaning company that state they have lost the contract and also one to the company i was cleaning for that i worked for direct prior to this company taking on the contract, i got a text message from "my supervisor" at 1AM this morning yes 1am i was not impressed it states that they have lost the contract due to the company refurbishing the office why he could not have sent it at a sociable hour i dont know, but i believe either way i still get transferred over to the new contractor or back to the company direct as was before they took the contract over i am now awating replies as to who the new contractor is if anyone sent them recorded delivery this morning
i dont think they have any intention of tupe me back to the company direct and i dont believe there is any new contractor just have to see what the replies bring0 -
hi all, right having sent off my grievance letter to the cleaning company that i transferred to 2 months ago i received a repy this morning which reads:-
"further to your letter we do not know who the new contractor is you will have to contact the company direct kind regards"
they mention nothing that it was infact a grievance letter any ideas on what or how to reply thanks0 -

Hello hardworker. I suggest you contact ACAS, they will be able to give you good advice. You need legal advice, as these matters are very complex. I assume you are not with the unions. Maybe your home insurance gives you legal advice? If not the CAB is another option.
As far as the letter is concerned I would reply thanking them for their reply to your query, and reiterating that you are looking forward to their response into your grievance as well.
In terms of your dismissal, it seems extraordinary to me that it's been backdated! You are entitled to the notice written into your contract + any annual leave not taken (NOT annual leave instead of notice) as a minimum, but probably redundancy as well.
It sounds like the contract has ceased to exist a new TUPE may not apply, in which case you would be entitled to redundancy, and pre-TUPE employment would count towards its calculations (they would have to follow the terms of your initial contract).
This is not expert advice, but some pointers. I really urge you to get legal advice.0
