Aldi Special Buys - in all stores?

I wanted to get a tool kit from this week's Aldi special buysm which should start today, but I just had a look around one and they didn't have any. Are they meant to be in all stores? And do they usually turn up later in the week if they are?

Sometimes the Special offers do not arrive in time.

Why not ask the staff in Aldi?

I made the fatal mistake of buying a tool kit and also a set of garden loppers from Aldi last year and all I can say is, you get what you pay for.

The loppers bent after the first use on an apple tree and the tools are about as strong as a kids plastic set that you get in toy shops.

Sarah - We have had a pair of the garden loppers from Aldi for a couple of years and use them regularly without problem. I would take them back as they sound faulty.

i have an aldi corded drill, cost £8, best drill ive ever owned

lopper bought from Aldi just as you say ... like a toy
but dangerous to use it damaged my hands fataly.

I, for one, cannot praise the Aldi special buys enough. Amongst the electrical goods I have bought are a Food Steamer, Food Processor, Panini press, Slow Cooker and Hot-air brush. All have been in use regularly over the last few years. We have numerous tools, including the garden lopper, and are impressed with the quality of all of them.

One special buy we wanted had sold out at our local branch and the manager tracked one down at another branch and asked them to save it for us. I call that good service.

And why has Michael71 (a first time poster) resurrected this thread after 14 months?

You were fatally injured by these Ald1 loppers yet took the time to come back from the dead just to warn us helpless shoppers. I admire your fortitude!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

All loppers are dangerous in the wrong hands. I have never had a problem with any specials from Aldi (or Lidl for that matter).

speaking from experience if the specials are advertised for say sunday then the specials come in say wednesday before and are layed out on saturday, if a certain special hasnt been delivered for whatever reason then no it doesnt turn up late,

yes all specials are in all stores but you may find theres a slight variation with them in 1 store at 1 end of the county to another store at other end of the county,
