Hi, I have some "yea sacc" live yeast in dried form (used for supplimenting horses) can I grow this at home? I've read it is a strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, or brewers yeast. I just wondered if I can keep it growing at home and have a continual supply, or am I just talking rubbish? I used to grow keiffer (cant spell it though!) If it is possible how do I go about it?
