Mewbie not been around for a few days I think.....perhaps the Aberdonian OCD feel of the board has got to him too. Perhaps he's watching Strictly?

Maybe he succumbed to the pressure and took Hamish's advice and bought a nice BTL in Aberdeen.

    It's very up-and-coming, so I hear.

Do tell, fc - sounds interesting.

I've not followed X factor either, as OH Disapproves (I'm the lowbrow one), and it clashes with Strictly, which the girls love, cooing over all the sparkly dresses and stuff, and eating up all the gossip and trivia about the Stars-I've -Never-Heard-Of Before. So I'm also feeling out of the loop.

And likewise can't be arsed to put up a fight or even pretend to any interest on Aberdonian house prices.

I will have to be really, really ambiguous about it though...I don't think this board comes up in google searches due it's closed nature?

Briefly....recession and clone High St has created ''Hot New Trend'' for nichey labels....so, all want to jump in following on from success of online market leader. Some, like New L**k have launched their exclusive brand..Id0l..which is just same old New Lk but twice the price coupled with an ad campaign...no soul, no depth...just churned out product.

But one Oligopoly has sussed the market (do they employ ex KGB?)and see them being part of it's new clothing website....gives Kudos to the own label product (which sells by the zillion units).

However, no-one will supply them for loads of reasons.....but we know the one that did.....massive order...but has given all the other stockists the hump...so....it has killed the brand off before they start....unless.....you do it under an anon label....disconnected from the mainline. A unique look, new label, bit of history....and mortgage gone in 12 months.

    Wow, fc... sounds big.

Reading between your lines, would you be able to cope with an order that big?
