I turned down the London job - which was my gut instinct.
I've booked my CF1 exam, and will be purcashing CF2 revision material ASAP. Im still keen as ever to make it as an IFA and I'm still in talks (and meeting in a couple of days) about a possible job within driving distance.
I'm an easy going character who will do the 'right' thing for me rather than what I 'want' to do; but theres some characters who i just can't work with and he seemed one of them. All in all, the positives did not outweigh the negatives. This other IFA seems a sound guy, with useful experience.
I'll tell you in 5years whether it was the right decision or not.0 -

I booked my CF1 exam yesterday, for December.
I'm not looking to get any CF2 material until CF1 is out of my life!
How are you finding CF1? I think I've nailed everything bar chapter 3. I'll 'get' it eventually, but the course book is so 'dry'!£1 / 50p 2011 holiday flight + hotel expenses = £98.50/£600
HSBC 8% 12mth regular savings = £80 out of a maximum remaining allowance of £2500
"3 months' salary" reserve = £00 / £3600 :eek:0
