Thanks Op for this...Got some in my local in Scarborough but it was not advertised as BOGOF but was advertised 3 for 2. Asked the cashier if they were on BOGOF she popped it through the till and she was amazed so 12 cans for £4.98 plus No 7 voucher brilliant....

Are you sure it was the big cans? The smaller cans don't work, only the big 250ml 3-D protection ones.

Thank you so much. I am a single parent of two girls one boy I bought 12 tins should last him a lifetime. Still cant work how it works but fantastic.....couldnt belive my eyes that it actually works in practice and quite big tins too.

It works as follows:

Buy one
2nd: BOGOF
3rd: 3 for 2
4th BOGOF on 3rd
5th: Scans as paid for
6th: 3 for 2 from 4th and BOGOF from 5th so takes off £2.45 twice

I think anyway! I watched the till carefully to see what was going on!

Thanks op. I got 6 tins today. My ds says he doesn't like them but oh is sorted for about a year thanks. I got a few other things that I needed and got another goldie and another from the customer on the next till.

Worked for me today too, so pleased!! My hubby will smell nice for ages ;-) The label in our local store did say BOGOF and at the bottom also said 3 for 2, so somebody somewhere must have printed that label and be aware of the offer???

I tried it this morning, my first ever Bootsing attempt and it worked!!!! :j

There were only 4 on the shelf, but I was still happy to get 4 for the price of 1! I read the receipt about 5 times before I kind of worked out how it worked, even after reading the explanations on here I still don't completely get it - but I don't care!! The till receipt said your savings today are £7.73 or something like that, how cool is that.

I was so worried as this was my first time I thought I'm going to be soooooo embarassed if it doesn't work. So I bought a couple of drinks too, just incase, but no probs :T

I'm a bit of a newbie to all this MSE lark, but I just want to say a huge thank you to the OP and anyone who posts anything on here that can save me some money - I'm hooked!!!

thanks for the thread i went to boots today with 6 tins in my basket she scanned all six and yes it came to £2.45 :j

so i went to another boots and did the same , i know what people are getting off Santa this year
