                    hiya
just thought i'd let you know that i spoke to the National Debt Helpline, i have been putting it off for a while....the lady i spoke to was sooo helpful and didn't sound like she was judging me and didn't criticize me.
If you are putting off that call, don't, you will feel better for making it!
I am defo going down the br route now...just need to get my paperwork submitted. Scary but i'm going for it x

Well done confused, that's the biggest first step you could take towards getting out of the situation you are in. Good work!
You know where we are if you need help with the forms.

I remember taking the guts to make that call, I was so quiet she couldn't hear me. I was choked trying to get the words out 'I would like some help with my debt' She knew straight away to treat me with kid gloves and I appreciated that. I was talking to her for ages and by the end of it I was confidently asking questions that I never thought I'd ever admit to never mind actually ask.
That first call is so scary isn't it but after that call you just know that it's going to be ok and get some strength. Like Phil says, it just all falls into place from then on.
Well done and fab for posting this, many onlookers will take strength from it i'm sure x0

Good luck confused, we are presently going down the BR route, our hearing is booked for late November, that was the earliest date possible and we booked it in September. There are loads of people in the same boat, and the posters on this site are brilliant. Any questions, just ask because someone will always give you an answer, and usually pretty quickly as well.:pB&SC No. 298
