Just spoken to a guy who works for PC World and he has recommended the TOM TOM GO over the medion one.

    Any comments?

He says he has tried them both and he feels that Tom Tom is much better.

  • I bought the software only for £99 from the AA as I already had an ipaq and GPS reciever, but they also do various packages including a handheld pc & gps from £299.

Its not the best handheld in the world but on the plus side you can use it for other things than just sat nav.

    Hi,

I have brought a medion one from makro, so far i have found it very easy to use. Also it is a very slim unit.

A friend who has used both recommened the medion one, so there is some debate there!!!

When i compared it with the other systems i found medion uses the same software as the tom tom one and also has most of the features. BUT it is much cheaper.

I think makro are out of stock but i noticed there are a few on ebay.

    Hope that helps.
