Thank you Emmzi, I thank you for your concern. Well I'm still plodding along at work and I have to say since I divulged my financial situation the Captain, the XO and my boss have been absolutely fine with me and I must say I do not feel at all ashamed or embarassed. I've heard nothing from the defence vetting agency although I would expect them to be in touch very shortly. When I walked across the brow from the submarine the other day with some stores (expensive stationery) that I had to take back to the store I walked past my boss who asked me what they were, I told him and he jokingly saif 'off to sell them on ebay more like'. Now that wasn't a dig in the slightest in actual fact its the standard thing people seem to be saying in situations like that, if you get my drift. But I felt a little uncomfortable in myself and not at my boss of course but I feel I'm restricted somewhat in what I say i.e. if he asks me what am I doing this weekend? Are you going on holiday. Think I will put this reply on the original thread. But hey thanks once again for your concern. I'm touched (In more ways than one!!!)
