are there any free dongles out there?

When 3 were giving out their free dongles I wasn't needing one or even thought I would need one.

Now times have changed and I need one.

I could of course buy one but why should I if there is the chance of a freebie.

So if I have to buy one what are the cheapest. I will only need it for a fortnight to check my email and maybe MSE.

And don't suggest using my mobile phone I've yet to work out how to send a text:D. Actually I don't know if I could get email on my phone, it only cost me £4 from Asda a year ago and I've still got £8 on it from the original £11.

Imagine lugging a desktop computer with you when you go on holiday:rotfl:

I have a couple of weeks yet if anyone in the know knows anything.

Jen

We have a t-mobile dongle that cost £30 new and you just top it up like you would a mobile phone and I know most networks do a pay as you go dongle now so worth looking around

Vodafone do a dongle that comes with £15 (which converts to 1GB) of credit for £35. You just top it up when you need more data by £15 at a time. Unlike other networks though your data allowance doesn't expire which makes it perfect for light usage

Via the Quidco cashback site, you can get a PAYG Mobile Broadband modem for o2 for about a fiver. Though you'd have to pay £30 to get it, then wait for the £25 cashback to be paid, which might take a while.

Yes.... 12 months down the line I'm still waiting for my cashback for my O2 contract :( So, beware, because these cashback offers don't always work and they do warn you of this.

    Take care.
