im a 18 yr old & just passed my driving test, i have enough money for a car but none, for insurance, i want to do it off my own back without mummy or daddy so to speak. i have a job n also go college. wht im thinking is either gettin a credit card with no intrest for say 8 months pay for it on tht & then cut the card up n never use it while paying back for it hopfully before the 8months leaving me with no intrest payments...? would that work?

or would it be better to just get a loan & pay it back over 12months say...?

need to get on the road!

insurance is a new n expencive game! cheers.

  • most insurance compaines will have the option to pay monthly.ok it will be at a price, but at 18 you may find getting credit difficult if you havent had any in the past.
