Wellington boots!

Hello all,

Yesterday was very very wet as I'm sure you all know! I went to a car show with my boyfriend and thought that trainers would be suitable for the occasion! Not so! They got completely muddy and wet! I suddenly realised that I am silly and should invest in a pair of wellington boots. Does anyone know of a place that I could buy a reasonable pair of boots. Where I live, there are no camping shops and I have looked on the Debenhams website and the only ones they have are childrens - and very groovy they looked - but I will not fit in them! I am going camping on the weekend and would really like to buy some on Thursday so that if it rains, I will not have to ruin another pair of trainers!

Thanks so much!
Money money money!

Have you got an Equestrian shop (riding school sometimes have them on site) near you? Asda and Tesco do welly boots too.

Thanks to you all. I don't have an Asda or Tesco that sell clothes too close, but might be the only option. Thanks very much all though! :)

These older threads might help. Obviously they aren't current but they might give you ideas of where else to look.

I wanna buy some funky wellie boots!

Try the cheaper shoe shops if you want the plastic ones - the high volume/low cost ones with reasonably large store rooms are likely to have them even though they might not be on display at the moment.

Thanks all. ASDA seems to be the best bet and other shoe shops! Will have to do a bit of searching!:rotfl:
