Ionic/ceramic or plain old hairdryer

I need a new hairdryer, but the choices are too much.

Ionic?

Ceramic or just the plain old-fashioned hair dryer that dries my hair?

What do you think

I know there are too many choices its crazy!! Depends on what you want but I always go for a brand I know mid price and I always look for a quiet one.
Mine is a Babyliss was about £30 i think, from Boots - got the points for it and used a money off voucher.
p.s. I have had an Ionic and found it to be a waste of money.

Decent plain old style ones are not that easy to find, I wanted one recently and couldnt find one that had decent heat that wasnt ionic, I bought an ionic one in the end and have got used to it but I find I need to wash my hair more often- hth:)

Yeah I agree didn't notice any difference at all with an ionic. I have a babyliss, was about £30 and is pretty basic. It is great, and it dries my hair a treat :D I haven't even heard of ceramic hair dryers!
  • I think that is the problem, i hadnt heard of a ceramic either, then once in the shop the choices were far too many. I thought I was up to date with the word ionic hairdryer.

TRESemme do a ceramic/ionic hairdryer, I am still non the wiser.

Dont fanycy washing my hair more often or paying for something that doesnt make any positive difference.

Perhaps I will carry on with the one I have and look into this a bit more.
