Have a look for the snow ball calculator, it works out what is best to pay off first and how long it will take with the ammount you have to service your debts.
it really puts things into perspective.
sorry but i dont have the link to hand as it's on my home pc but i am sure someone will post it shortly for you.0 -
ive had some bad news
i had to get a run around for my partner to get to work i got a cheep older car all in it was £900 pound with the insurance i was paing it back and because of the way the visa dose things the amount has only just shown on the bill...grr:mad:
what i thought the total was is wrong allthough i paid nearly 1000.00 this month it has been swallowed up by this stuff going on it
im well upset i was pleased to see the amount coming down
now its back where it was.......3900.00
i picked my self off the floor and went down the bank<payday>
and have paid
65.00 rent
5.00 elec
30.00 shopping
30.00 partners petrol and spends for the week
100.00 on visa
100.00 on 0% card
so it should now be after the bt
2000.00 visa
1500.00 tesco )%

Oh dear. Sometimes it feels like one step forward two back doesn't it?
Keep going, you've come too far to give up.
Just say out loud "I am doing this....failure is not an option!"
Remember.....we all have set backs. Mine was having my house broken into recently and having to borrow extra money (more than another grand!! ) to upgrade our security.
It gets you down when things happen and you see your hard work undone....but you'll bounce back. Just think...what would it have been like if you hadn't put in the work you have already done?
Come on, you're doing so well.

Well, suppose the way to look at it is that if you hadent paid off that amount , then you would owe even more.
