Best Beard Trimmer and Hair Straightners?!

Hello, I'm looking for some decent hair straightners for me and I want to get my boyfriend a beard trimmer for xmas. I have googled for both but am still none the wiser so I'd like your recommendations please! I'm not fussed about getting a pair of GHD's but I would like some good ceramic straightners at a reasonable price.

Now I have no idea about beard trimmers, he doesn't have one at the moment but has mentioned that they would be handy. He never has a full beard but prefers stubble to a clean cut face. Any ideas? All help is muchly appreciated! :p

I wouldn't know about beard trimmers sorry! I should ask my nan :rotfl: But I use GHDs and have had many straightners over the years and these are the best, I used to use Remington ones and they were always very good, but the coating on the plates used to come off really easier and rip my hair out! I have read a few posts on here and people seem to think the Babyliss Pro 230 straightners are very good too x

I also bit the bullet and bought the wide plate GHD's for £99 a few years ago. They have been so worth the money. I find the actual straightening quality similar to the cheapies I used to have, however they last much better (I was getting through 2 pairs a year!) and also I don't have to section my hair out, or just do tiny sections at a time, I can just brush and straighten it while it's down iyswim.
