Hi This is my first post so please bear with me
I have had a mortgage with the abbey for 2 years (and previously before switching for 4 years) I have never missed a payment or even paid late. I have credit cards and catalogues which have some late payments but none missed. Have verified this on experian report. My rate is about to change so went to a broker to remortgage who put us through the woolwich. After 1 month (application lost !!) they said they would give us the mortgage but not the reserve facility. We have 110000 oustanding on a 165000 property. We have now decided to go through Abbey who are switching us onto the Flexi lifetime tracker and as soon as this is set up I have to contact them to ask ablout increasing limit to enable us to use the drawdown facility, (to pay off all credit commitments and take advantage of cheaper rate)I am now just worried they will also refuse this even though we have a good history with them. Will this make them look at us more favourably.
Would appreciate anyone putting my mind at ease
Thanks x
