Received a letter from my OR today "NOTICE TO BANKRUPT ENCLOSING A SEALED COPY OF THE EARLY DISCHARGE NOTICE" and on the followingg letter "with the effect of the date this notice was filed in court [22-09-2009] you are discharged from bankruptcy"
Now I know this may sound very silly and the answer seems to be very obvious but is that really it? Am I discharged and its over and done with? I have no assets to be involved in the bankruptcy or any complications like that, but I still find it hard to believe that its all over.

one thing to bear in mind though....if you start cleaning up your credit file in a while most companies will ask for proof of discharge (so just send a copy of what the or's office sent you)
and again well done! and enjoy the feeling (its nice isnt it!!):DWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

thanks again - I thought today was going to be one of those days where every thing goes wrong - overslept only giving me 30 minutes to get 2 kiddies fed, washed dressed and 1 to school in half hour - my toddler then threw orange juice all down himself just as we were about to leave the house. Got home and he bagan to destroy the living room and then the postman came.... saw the ORs address and just thought, oh no! And then WHOOPEE! Early discharge! GREAT FEELING!
I dont care if I never get credit again - the thought actually quite scares me now after experiencing the debt I was in. Definitely a costly lesson learned.BR - 06/03/2009:j0
