E: 30/10 WIN! A day's game shooting

Each Seeland winner will secure a place on a 100 bird shoot in the glorious hills of Northumberland on the Nunwick Estate to be held on Saturday, 5 December 2009. The location north of Hexham is in the historic border country close to the Northumberland National Park and Hadrian’s Wall. The shoot will be led by Jon Snowdon, a very experienced shot and countryman, who is most knowledgeable and also local to these grounds. Lunch and dinner will be included and to enhance this already incredible experience, each winner will also receive a Seeland “Scott” (man’s style) or “Gabrielle” (lady’s style) jacket and a pair of neoprene line “Estate” wellington boots from the new Seeland range. The Scott & Gabrielle ranges make reference to the most classical and stylish hunting clothing throughout the years whilst incorporating the newest technical details which blend appearance and functionality beautifully.

There will be eight guns in total on the shoot, including the Editor of Shooting Times, Alastair Balmain, and representatives from Seeland, the sponsoring company.

I dont really think its necessary to let people know which competitions you wish to enter or not enter. If you would like to enter thats fine, other wise you could just ignore this Competition. I believe each to their own no need to bring it back to the top and bump it just because you may not agree with the Prize.

I don't mean to be rude, but this competition is bound to rouse strong feelings as it is cruel and a blood sport that many people would be sickened by. If people wish to express how anti they are against it, then I believe it is fair for them to do so. I don't think it is as trivial as a commenting on a gadget competition for example and not something that can be easily ignored. Personally, I do not see it as a prize, I find it heinous.
