'green' disposable nappies-how to compare their eco-credentials?

Hi there,
I've been trying to get my head around how to compare the relative 'greenness' of the various eco-disposable nappies. None of them seem to give clear statements that I can compare with any other brand. I'm sure someone must have written about it somewhere, but my googling hasn't helped me much yet!
Can anyone help?
Many thanks in advance

, sadly they don't seem to sell just one article at an affordable rate, and I can't afford the years subscription.
It's a shame there's nothing more widely available....

I've just discovered I've got the copy of ethical consumer from dec 2007 with the old nappy report in it... if you're interested PM me! I may have some stuff elsewhere as well if I look hard enough.
Or talk to Pigpen... I have a feeling she makes her own nappies :eek:0 -

A lot depends on where you live - eg biodegradability matters little if your refuse is incinerated.0

Emissions, transport and disposal of fly ash (landfill) are problems with incineration.0
