Fully understandable - it's because you CARE about your kids! Shame many don't.

Many may not care but I think MOST DO, as we are all aware there is more to raising children than just money, and to be honest the biggest gift you have given them in life is to learn to stand on their own two feet and be able to survive themself. Whether PWC or NRP not all are lazy beggers. Hopefully they will grow and not make similar mistakes to what their parents (many who frequent here) have made.

The problem with looking back on maybe what I should have done, is that I now have the benefit of hindsight. At the time, with no experience of all things CSA, I just reacted to what was in front of me & felt it was right at the time to minimise any impact on my 2 children (9 & 7 at the time).

I admire you for what you did. I wouldn't for a minute suggest all nrps should do exactly what you did. Shame you didn't go into it more at the time as you could have saved some expenses.

The point is, your post shows you always put feelings for the ex aside and thought of the children first. This is something I do sometimes see as lacking from others (but to be fair, it is easy to judge from little snippets of peoples lives that they do post).
