when i put symbols onto the black box on desk nothing happens, what shoud happen? am i putting them in right?

What a rip-off!

Just finished it - its only based on that desk - the initial screen shots indicate there should be some more (like the car driving next to a bollard etc)


So - only 9 puzzles then a 'Congrats! you finished....'


I feel so used ;-)

And with number 7 while you're at it

How far are you on number 8? I've got to the bit where she asks which constellation contains the right symbol , and you have to refer to the rhyme but I'm pretty stumped. I know what the rhyme is but can't figure out the answer she wants! Aaargghhh!

No 7 is about looking for the deepest part of the Pacific ocean. Type in your answer to her and see what she says next.
I know that there is a hidden message on No 8 and I've read it and know what rhyme it comes from but I cannot figure out what Wow! refers to.

Isn't the bit about the deepest point in the pacific in puzzle five, i.e. the one with the submarine?

Number 8 is about listening to the sky, as she puts it. I thought it might be something to do with SETI, etc so started looking for things that can be used to listen/look at the stars... that got me most of the way through but now I'm stuck on figuring out what to take from the rhyme.

May I ask you how you made the connection between the ear and the stars? I am absolutely stumped on that one.

EDIT - sorry a bit slow there, but still can't get any further.

She says something about the ear being connected to the stars so I thought it must be implying listening for something from the stars, which got me thinking to SETI and telescopes, etc.
