I think us MSE'ers are organised, bargain hunting and getting stocked up early is a profession :rotfl: A friend of mine said no need to panic they will have plenty for xmas...I, like a mad woman hunted for all the bits as I wasnt convinced, and I'm glad I did.

My 9 year old has not mentioned them, everytime my DH says about them I pull faces and say ssshhhh dont tell him I want them to be a surprise. The newspapers have hyped them for a few weeks so have a few gadget websites/blogs, a while before the advert was on standard channels.

I can imagine the week before xmas those parents will be saying oh so thats what she was on about...by which time they might not find any some kids are out of touch and once it hits the playground these are the in thing they will all be asking for them.

I went to Hooray for toys in Lancaster today (I live nearby) and met Carol, the lady answering all your phone calls and wrapping and packing hamsters and accessories for you all, the warehouse was packed floor to ceiling with Go Go stuff and she is expecting another delivery soon. I picked up my Funhouse and hamster, thats all I needed, but do keep checking this store, hoorayfortoys.co.uk

I just managed to reserve 2 houses from argos near aberdeen, (1 for me and 1 for my sister ..... I mean for our children!) phewf! that's such a relief, I was worried I wasn't going to get one of those!
My sister lives through there so thats nice and easy

Yorkshire toy company have stock of many items (no ball, surfboard or skateboard) now and are a bit cheaper than Hoorayfortoys. However, site is horrendously slow...:eek:

This website is much cheaper.....and had everything in stock Id just ordered an hour before, wish Id seen it first Oh well you win some, you lose some
