Right Character - now that it's just you and me, please can you list the stock or post the 'announcement'? Thanks
You are proper evil :rotfl:0 -
Beginning to think this hamster hunt is impossible.....
Still trying to get just 2 different hamsters for my girls but keep missing stock. Tried TRU online this morning and made it as far as checkout but the site kept crashing.
Thanks everyone for all the tips but my search continues. Going to the Trafford Centre tonight so will have a lock there but not too hopeful.0 -

Come on. I'm starving - will be eating this damn mouse in a minute!!!Seriously worn out from all thisbargain hunting !!!0

It would make sense just to list and make done with it. Whilst sites like Character/Toysrus etc are down, people can't order anything, and will be looking elsewhere. In the end maybe they sell all their gogo stuff but are left with everything else!!!Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0

Actually ... it is you guys F5ing and slowing down the website that means that they can't get their stock on .. their systems were struggling to talk to the webserver.
F5ing is artificial visiting.
I got a note to say that stock was planned to be on earlier, but they couldn't. Stock would have been on earlier if you had just waited for someone to shout (or used a stock checker) rather than everyone F5ing and slowing the website. If I were Character, I would be varying the times now just to avoid the mindset of 'they listed at 9.00am yesterday so let's hit refresh at that time today'.
He He .. an overnight listing would save them a lot of grief no doubt.
I agree to an extent however there has been large windows this morning where the site has been running at full speed. They seem to have created another frenzy themselves now at no fault of ours.0 -
I'm off to make a cuppa before I die of dehydration (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
