I spoke with TRU CS and they've said that if you've recieved a confirmation email then the order has gone through and allocated. If they have problems with the credit card then they'll contact you to sort out payment. They won't cancel your order automatically.

Just got my confirmation e-mail from John Lewis so definitely the end of hamster hunting for myself but will keep my eyes open to report here, want to see it right to the end, I've had so much fun since the thread first started, I originally first posted on about Page 3 and now it's up to 476 - wow!!!

Thanks for posting that normal, and for actually getting throught to their cs department! Has made me feel a bit better about looking a loony in front of my hubby all morning whilst hamster hunting! He doesn't see what the fuss is about, he would come Xmas morning if the girls didn't have any!!!

Might relax a little about it now. :T

The hamsters are in stock on the TRU website, no accerssories though.

too_much_debt , I was just going to post and ask what you were still looking for as I think you are local to me (am in Ux) and I was going to keep an eye open for you but pleased for you that your hamster hunt is over. I am just trying to get an adventure ball but can't see it happening!!!
