They are not trying to make a quick buck, they just want to sell at the price they paid for them plus the p&p

Sometimes it pays to communicate with 'er in doors!!!

I think around £25 seems to be about the going rate on ebay for the hamsters from what others have posted on here so I can't see them being stuck with their furry friends :)

A friend of mine has purchased several go go hamsters off various auction sites and stupidly forgot to tell his wife.

His wife just told me that she had done exactly the same and they will have more than required. I am going to purchase the cheaper one at the price they paid (£20+P&P).The rest they purchased between 20 and 25 quid.

They said the remainder they will auction off on ebay. Is anyone interested? they will probably do a buy it now price of £20 to £25?

Not going on initially as they have note received the items yet

I think they were even bidding against each other at one stage lol.

Why don't they just sell them on ebay then??

Anything to do with the fact that they have a captive audience here all desperate for stock and could avoid the costs of listing and selling on ebay.

I'm sorry to sound cynical but I think we have to be. My mate accidentally acquired a "few" extra hamsters etc etc. They dont want to make anything, they just want what they paid £25 from ebay blah blah. How do we know they or you havent ordered them at rrp this morning from character?

I think its one thing to come on here trying to trade or sell at cost price, that is well intentioned, even though its not allowed and funny onions ebay group seems to be doing a great job there.

Coming on here trying to sell on stuff at way above the RRP is not on at all and I, for one, am sick of it.

Im fed up, cant find those furry creatures anywhere. Think i'm gonna have to buy off ebay.

Question, how much would you be prepared to pay for a go go hamster? im thinking 25 to 30?

Yes, I am getting totally paranoid here but with questions like this posted previously anyone would think you were trying to check out your market??

If people want to sell on ebay thats fine they're entitled but do it there not here!
  • I cant get onto boots.com?
I am starting to wonder why I am still doing this?

Well I know they didnt as Ive spent the last 3 days trawling websites in work time trying to find them and if they got one at £10 then they would sell to me at £10.

Would an ebay receipt showing proof of purchase be acceptable?

This may have been asked before or may be a stupid question (I have not seen a go go hamster or a ball in real life) but would a go go hamster run round the balls (which sell for three/four quid in our local pet shop/Pets at Home) you can get for real hamsters?
I realise it depends on how the hamster moves but it was just a thought given the number of people who are looking for a ball.....................

Well unusually they did list houses or hamsters or both yesterday evening - can't recall what time but it was unusual for them to list mid evening. They might have even listed something else but I can't remember.
