What I find interesting (or should I say frustrating) is that i've checked out loads of websites that sell the items, from well known ones like woolies and well known catalogues to more obscure DVD selling sites etc. What I've noticed is that many of the websites are exactly the same as other ones, with exactly the same layout, stock, and stock status. The only difference is the banner they have a long the top with their name on. So they must all be owned by the same companies at the higher level. So really we are probably spending a lot of time actually viewing the same website, with the same stock etc, but because it has a different banner across the top, we assume it will have different items in stock and stock levels etc.:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0

I've just been thinking, like you do after being up since 04.15hrs...we are thinking that inflated prices on ebay are terrible and that we can get them cheaper. However, consider this, I've just seen a seller who has beds and carriers and has them as a 'buy it now' for 7.99 with 1.95 postage. Now, that comes to 9.94. If you were to buy the same singular item from character-online, with the postage included, you'd pay 9.98 and if you got it from hoorayfortoys you'd pay 10.94. So really, if you are going to be buying single items online, sometimes it is worth doing your sums and you may well find that the ebay item isn't anymore expensive that getting it from somewhere online. If anyone wants to work it out for themselves, the ebay shop listing is http://toys.shop.ebay.co.uk/Electronic-Pets-/1082/i.html?_catref=1&_fln=1&_ipg=&_ssn=pctude&_trksid=p3911.c0.m282:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0

i know....lol....have shoved them on ebay...but tbh if someone here wants them AND CAN COLLECT!!..am not faffing round with posting, when i can do that on ebay...lol...i will happily sell them for what i paid and a WHISPA GOLD xxx lol
You could still have them on ebay and have postage as pick up only. I know its terrible of me to suggest such a thing, but hey, if anyone can get more than they paid (providing they do the decent thing and only initially list the item for what they actually paid plus any postage they had to pay) then they may actually get enough to pay for some of their own stuff that they bought.
I think nearer Xmas the prices will go mad on ebay and things will go for at least twice what was originally paid.:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0
