I think I might have spotted a reasonable deal. On www.empirestores.co.uk they've got a hamster (you can't chose which one) for £12 and the car / garage for £18. Obviously those prices are hefty. However, if you are a NEW customer and it is your FIRST order with them, you can use the code which is displayed next to the items when you check out and you'll get £15 off, which means you'd get both for £15 (free standard post), which is the cost of the car elswhere without the postage on. There is a 3 week wait for the hamster but I don't suppose that would be an issue. Anyway, just a thought...

Of course there is the small print which reads £15 off when you spend £25 or more on your first order

Quote code ZG134 at the checkout when you place your order.

*The £15 first order discount is available to new customers only, can be used once and is conditional on being accepted for a Empire Stores credit account, acceptance is subject to credit status. If you are not accepted for a credit account you will not be entitled to the discount. Offer ends 31st December 2009.

Been following this thread daily.I was lucky enough to find the house in argos and get a half price hamster.I decided not to pay silly ebay prices but to sit it out and see what comes back in stock before christmas. As i don't drive i always take delivery costs, bus fayres ect into consideration.
I'm posting as I found a bed, carrier and 2 blankets on ebay from an american seller and they work out at £16.77 delivered.I didn't think this at all bad considering these are hard to come by here in the uk.I've took a gamble and ordered.First time I've bought from USA but the seller is a big seller with excellent feedback. Not sure if I can post ebay links on here so won't for now. Will let you know if I receive them ok.Happy to pass on sellers name via PM though making it clear I'm not in a position to recommend at the mo until item arrives :)
lost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013

Argos now have the car / garage and the hamsters online for HOME delivery http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3840896/Trail/searchtext%3EGO+GO+HAMSTER.htm It looks like home delivery is £5.80.

Sainsburys have put a note on their site to say that they do not sell go go hamster items ONLINE - just in some stores. They advise just to check with your local store to see if they stock that line of toys.
