:rotfl:So there you go, over 500 people refreshing for England - no wonder people have problems getting items wherever they are listed...

  • I won't touch them again with a ten-foot bargepole.

The crashing / OOS issue - not their fault, remotely.

The security problem? Their fault, and big time, at that. They knew they had that problem, and it's a major data protection issue, and they didn't sort it.

How bloody ridiculous, when it crashed i kept refreshing and i saw absolutely nothing apart from no items in this catergory.

It took less than a second to refresh my page.

  • Maxi, if you are in touch with this guy at cm gifts could you forward my suggestion that I made in an earlier post, please?

If he gets more stock instead of listing could he instead put up a page on the website asking people to email in with what they want (restrictions to the amounts) and then at his own pace his staff can deal with orders on a first come first served basis. They could reply to each email with an order form which is just for them and people order that way.

I think that is much fairer and would save the website crashing.
Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.
  • I'm not surprised they are sold out if they only had 2 of everything.

    So who got stuff then?

I too saw the stock come up. There literally were only 3 balls there when I saw it and by the time I had one in my basket they were oos.

Don't knock the guy running the website/ company though. He did give us a warning that he had a very limited stock of items even though he did order a lot more. Plus he gave us regular updates. A good company I think :o
