Sorry to be a kill joy but the hamsters are showing as ages 3+ and it may be because their motorised. My son placed the hamsters on his arm to let it run up but knocked it off because the wheels turn quite quickly and MAY nip the skin. Nothing to serious but at 5 he knows not to run it over his bare skin, a younger child might not - wouldn't like a child to try to run it through their hair! Ouch.

hehe I was trying to cover up that I'd Like them :D

Thanks for looking out for him though :)

Going to try Toys r'us tomorrow morning in the slim chance they have a Mr Squiggles and Pip, now being it is limited to 1 per customer do you think if I could somehow tape £10 to my babies arm (humanly of course ;)) she would count as a customer and I would be allowed to get 2? Fear I am losing it

If you are lucky enough to find the ones you need, why don't you grab two "hide" one in a completely different aisle where it cant be found so easily, pay for one go back ten mins later "find your hamster" and go through different checkout.....Have been known to hide stuff before in shops ;)

I'd say they'll be fine for supervised play - the age limit is usually at what age the child can be left alone with an item.
He'd never be unsupervised with such a toy anyway :)

Even better - hide one in your coat and leave the shop.

Shouldn't laugh but this reminded me of my eldest daughter a few years ago. We were in john lewis and she picked up one of those kung fu hamsters with the sticks that turn round to "kung fu fighting".

Said DD had very long thick hair and held the little critter up closer to her ear to listen to the music.

You've guessed it, one child with a kung fu hamsters num chuckers, meshed into her hair! :rotfl:

Squiggles, Num Num, Chunk, Pipsqueak, please
You have bought the internet to it's knees
In search of houses, wheels and beds
You are really messing with our heads!

I cannot sleep or eat or wee
In case I miss an item at RRP
I even looked on evil Ebay
    £49.99 - no bloomin way!

I want to fulfill kids Xmas dreams
I want to see their happy beams
As they play with their furry little pets
And houses, wheels and other playsets

But alas, I think I might be defeated
My days go on being repeated
    F5 F5 F5 on and on
    I need a Hamster - only one!!

That's it for me - I'm psychologically sick
I hate the rodents they are taking the mick
Day and night I CANNOT hack it
They are coming for me with a strait jacket!

I'm going to go now and get some wine
Then I can breathe again and all will be fine
    I know it's only 2pm
But Go Go Pets - I HATE THEM!!!!

Sounds like a plan! although our Toys 'r us is useless and they rarely have more than one checkout opened. I shall take a cunning disguise with me and practice my best Russian accent this evening :rotfl:

You can't use it for any less than giving the author the entire hamster range for free :rotfl:
