I ordered a hamster and a house from Play for DD a while back and they were delivered a couple of weeks ago - I wonder if play will be able tosupply any of their pre orders now?

Looking at this thread it seems to be hamster hysteria!

I think I'll stick at Mr Squiggles and the house for DD for the moment just incase she doesn't play with it - looking at some of the prices people are prepared to pay for the go go pets you could spend a small fortune for it to end up at the bottom of the toybox.

Haven't got mine out of the packaging yet as for christmas but can anyone who has tried and tested the hammies confirm that they are worth all the fuss?

How many hamsters are people buying? I just bought 2 but wondering should I get the other 2?

Haven't got mine out of the packaging yet as for christmas but can anyone who has tried and tested the hammies confirm that they are worth all the fuss?

I just received my order tonight from character and when the kids went to bed I had to check to make sure the boxes where not empty as they were so light and must admit when i opened the skate board and surf board I was pretty dissapointed it is basically a couple of bits of plastic with stickers on it I dont think it will take long before bits start breaking off but lets hope my kids think more of it than me

In all fairness have you ever had a real plastic hamster house? It's much the same only bigger

Dont get me wrong I think the house size wise is great but have to admit the other toys were like a bigger version of a kinder toy but thats only my opinion so dont all shoot me down in flames:A

I'll be at work so no housework/ironing for me - guess I'll just have to stay on hot deals instead in between excel spreadsheets

I was just thinking about all the poor people on the hoorayfortoys mailing list who only access their e mails at work, so won't have seen the e mail telling them the items are in stock until they get into work tomorrow morning. How disappointed will they all be to find out that all the stock (apart from hamsters, the houses and the car/garage) have sold out. Oops...
