Saw the Accessory Pack on Littlewoods.com (says Low Stock) but when you try to pay for it it says Out Of Stock so they obviously don't update things very often, it is still showing as Low Stock even after telling me there isn't any.

In my experience the Littlewoods/Very etc...group haven't got the real time ordering system quite cracked and a poster who used to work for them posted the other day (another thread) to say the staff computer ordering systems are massive rubbish things from the eighties so I suspect you are correct.

Still worth a shot though

It does make sense for online retailers to show the stock being in then out of stock when you buy as a ploy just to get you onto their site and looking at buying alternative toys.

They may as well list all of the stock (but with 2 per customer restriction)

It stops ebayers buying all stock
It must be easier for the company and the team editin live stock
Everyone gets at least a 10 min window to get an order in
Won't have to refresh a page all day just to see if they listed 2 more mr squiggles after tea break.

The guy I spoke to at Additions said they've just gone out of stock, so they were there.

fforestfach store in swansea didn't have any shelf room nor did a member of staff know anything about them.

Surely Wilkos/tesco/asda/john lewis/toysrus etc wouldnt need to resort to this??
