Aside from the hamsters, I forgot to mention earlier that I went to B&Q today and I got 18 AAA batteries (Duracell) for £5.99. They wanted a tenner for less batteries in Homebase!

Might be a good idea to get batteries early before the christmas rush!

thanks for all the info everyone gave me today on go go hamsters an carpet
Went to sainsburys an tesco, in truro cornwall today an still no one seems to have anything other than the hamsters but hopefully thats a good sign that stock is coming in as before there wasnt even hamsters! so fingers crossed we may all get what we want by xmas! :j

hi im also in truro, desperate to get a hamster for my daughter from father xmas. did sainsburys or tescos have any?

yes i was in sainsburys at 10 tonight an they had two num nums one pipsqueek an one chunk on the shelf not sure if they had anymore but cant imagine they would have sold as it was empty an they closed at 11 i think say be worth calling first thing or popping down there! :cool:

thanks they open at 7 dont they? may have to phone them and hope they will hold one for me,im very frustrated by the whole hamster thing:eek: only phoned them 2 days ago to be told no stock and no stock coming in anytime soon.
