The houses where back in Argos. I picked up a house and three hamsters from a bristol store today.

Oh, and I'd keep the toysrus website on the go go hamster search page open at all time as well. They tend to list bits just for a few minutes so you have to be able to get on the site, refresh the page, and add whatever it is to your basket quick. Also, toyrus baskets don't keep your items if someone else pays first so you've got to be ready to pay as soon as you put it in your basket!

I cant believe how much hard work it is trying to get hold of the little critters homes... will be such a relief when I find one :rotfl:

I ordered on monday and started to worry yesterday, so i emailed and asked if it was because they were out of stock and were waiting for delivery as why i hadnt heard anything. then lo and behold this morning i have an email to say that they are dispatched and 11 oclock they were delivered.
So i would email them and ask them. Seemed to work for me.

The last couple of time Tousrus have listed houses has been between 2.30 and 3.15 so it might be worth keep refreshing during those times?

I ordered from Character on Moday and they have tried to deliver today when we were out.

I have rang Character to ask them to contact City Link to deliver before or after a specific time tomorrow as when I phoned City Link they said I have to call the people who the delivery is from to arrange this.

Fingers crossed I'll receive it tomorrow as City Link only attemt to deliver twice!!!

I really cant see why people are panic buying and paying ridiculous prices on ebay when we are not even in November yet

Because experience shows that if you leave it much later, then stock will be almost impossible to find - I remember seeing people queueing around the block in early December in the hope of getting the must have Christmas toy. Get it early = no stress trying to find that elusive toy nearer Christmas = no disappointed kiddies...
