Hi, Just phoned Toys R Us in Tamworth, they are having a lorry in on Saturday evening - the SA said it would be unloaded in the evening but not put on shelves until opening time on Sunday morning - they open at 10am.
They are limiting hamsters to 1 per person.:j

So glad that they are limiting the quantities now, I went into the Tamworth store in the week and asked if they had any and the man said that someone had come in that morning and bought all 40 that they had left!

OK - first time I've posted but been watching the forum for a week or so.

Thanks to all as I've managed to get the house from Toys R Us and Num Num and Squiggles from Wilkinsons.

We were away over the weekend in a place called Millport. It is on the Island of Cumbrae which is a 10 minute ferry ride off the west coast of Scotland (you get the Ferry from Largs).
We go there a lot and there is a great toyshop called Mapes (one of only about a dozen shops). My wife went in on Saturday with the kids and they had all 4 hamsters and pretty much all the accessories. She came away with Pipsqueak for my niece, a carrier and a garage!

As far as I know they don't trade online (but have a website: mapesonline.co.uk) and as far as I know they don't offer any postal options, but if you happen to find yourselves in the area or are so desperate you'd travel, it could be worth giving them a call - they are extremely helpful and would no doubt put stuff back for a later pick up.

    Good luck!

Clench999 you're a star! Thanks to you I now have 4 hamsters, the funhouse and wheel all waiting to be collected. I live on the East Coast of Scotland but my sister has a colleague who will go to collect it all for me. :T:T:T. They told me that they sold the last garage on Saturday...could be the one you bought!!!

I managed to pick up the elusive ball in Tesco (there was only 1 on the shelf) so I'm delighted. I was almost jumping for joy :j when I got my hands on it - people were staring at me as if I was mentally challenged!

I'll keep an eye out for any other stock and will let everyone know if I see anything. Not been able to get the bed or garage yet.

There are quite a few car/garages on ebay that have less than an hour to go and are quite low on bidding still

Would be nice to think ebay and argos could work together to check email addresses for reservations of those reported, but i suppose thats just a dream lol

I don't think they could - when one gives details to Argos, there is nothing permitting disclosure of that to a third party?

Easier just to report them to ebay.
