I've been on the hamster hunt for the last week or so and have just discovered this thread. Has some great hints and tips, thanks!

Just thought I'd say about the ebay seller toyz-plus. By chance I was trawling through ebay and discovered a batch of hamster funhouse's being sold by toyz-plus that were Buy it Now at £19.99 with £4.20 p&p last Monday 9th November. I ordered one and received it 2 days later on Wed 11th. It was a batch of 50 and they sold out within 30 minutes. I also got Mr Squiggles and Num Nums for £11.99 plus £2.50 p&p each from the same seller. They didn't combine postage but still much cheaper than other sellers! Worth keeping an eye on and maybe they are getting deliveries which they are listing on Monday mornings??

Just need a couple of the accessories now to complete the set. yay! :j

Maybe you could contact Character (tell them you were given the hamster as a gift) See if they have an exchange policy?

One seller on Ebay had a couple of Hamsters listed in separate auctions and I was watching them, I just noticed that they cancelled the bids on the items and ended the auctions and have now listed them for £22.99 and £24.99 plus post on BIN. Maybe they weren't confident that they would get a high price for them.

I ordered 2 x num nums (my first things) just incase I couldnt get the full set...

How long did the auctions have to run?
Perhaps they wanted them sold quicker?

Either way £22.99 for something that's prob cost a tenner is too much in my opinion

If I had known this yesterday I could of maybe been able to do it.... York is about 50 miles from me but it would of saved me all this stress and searching so would of been worthwhile IYSWIM

Is there anyway you can re reserve them when they release them as my hubby is going to Yorkshire tomorrow for work and I could send him!!

Just checked my Tesco order... I ordered Pipsqueak!!! Was sooo excited to see them in stock thought I would just get whichever one!!! .. Also ordered one from Amazon and have email to say has been despatched!
I am officially a hamster hunter!!!!

Couple of months ago youngest said about the hamsters and I was you don't want them!!! OMG how wrong was I!!!! if only I had listened!
Reminds me of years ago with the teletubbies when eldest wanted LaLa !!!
