Thanks for the heads up on Amazon managed to get an order in hopefully (fingers crossed).
Can I ask how people have got them posted - either first class or the free super saver...I want to guarentee one and not sure I want to pay £8 postage! :eek:

Terrifying moment. Just took my finger off the refresh button briefly to stroke the cat!! I expect he'll be thrilled to play with the dumb hamsters when the kids have finished with them by the end of xmas day!!

next day orders will probably take priority, shouldnt i know but prob best way of getting one,i usually do super save and have not had a problem but i have not ordered stuff that is really hard to find.

i alwasy do super saver from amazon never had a problem often they arrive in 2 days as well

They despatch all next day orders first - not just hamsters - everything next day. Then they'll pack and ship everyone elses over the next couple of days. I generally find Amazon very good. When they state 4-5 days it ships and arrives after 2-3 days, but sometimes longer when the weekend is involved like today.

I have just recovered. Now going to see how many seconds it takes to sprint to the kettle flick the switch and skid back to the computer in time to refresh. I might then extend this to getting to the utility room to grab the polish and duster so I can at least dust around the study! It's all a matter of planning!:j
