I had same text about my Jungle in my Pocket and Sylvanian Families stuff. Don't worry, think delay is Tesco related rather than hamster stock related. Friend has had same and also doesn't have hamsters!!

Just had a call from Hooray - she had a slide left over (I rang her Weds) and she offered it to me - I told her i had bought one from Ebay (and for only a few quid more as my postage would have been more from her due to my location) - So if anyone got a call tonight from her offering them the slide - I am glad you got it!!!!

Wouldn't part with the hamsters for the world. I want to keep them to laugh at when I'm 90 and my kids are trying to get their kids the latest 'must have'!!

Well, I'm not sure but i've never seen hamster stock added on toysrus in the evenings. When they had quite a bit of stuff, things were suddenly listed as in stock, intermittently throughout the day. I think the earliest was around 8ish and the latest was around 4. They haven't listed anything really for a while, although I think poor old chunk suddenly appeared on there for a few seconds today before someone nabbed him.

As for play.com, they've removed all evidence from their site that they ever had hamsters. They also did this last week then mysteriously all the range was listed again but with no details. Then all of a sudden two days ago the listed some of the items as in stock - early afternoon on and off for a couple of hours. They didn't list again till this morning, mid morning if I can remember rightly. So unless they put the list of stock up again, then I there's no point in keep refreshing. I suspect that the stock they listed was maybe orders that had been placed last time, they ordered them, then the people cancelled cos they got the stuff elsewhere, hence them having extra when the order eventually came in (I might be wrong but that seems a plausible reason). As for the hamsters, as character are the distributor, they probably did get a batch from them, but most were sold out quickly and loads of orders are just that, orders, awaiting the next batch of stock.
