I'd just like to state I am online at 'work' (that place i go to earn some money rather than obtain handouts from the government for sitting on my !!!! all day) That is while my child is receiving an 'education' at school, NOT sat in front of the telly or being ignored. Then when I get home I shall cook a healthy meal for tea, using fresh veg her and I have learnt to grow, and shall sit down at the dinner table as a family! Then we shall play, read, bath and bed! Not quite how you put it is it!!!!!!!!

Yeah same here my kids go to school whilst I am at work - they are with their dad once they get home as he is a postie and is home most days by 3, then when i get home we have dinner, we do homework, we bath, play, read and both parents put both kids to bed. When the kids are in bed - that is ADULT time. Before that i devote my time to my kids - if however my kids are playing independently ON THEIR OWN - which alot of children do and it is very healthy - then i might do something naughty - like have a look on MSE.

I give my kids time in the week during the evenings and don't just pick them up at weekends and then make snide comments to everyone else to appease my guilt.
