I wonder if I may nominate myself for the "Most Expensive Hamster Hunt Ever" award.

Myself and hubby went to our local ASDA for our weekly shop then Toys R Us on the hunt for the elusive Mr Squiggles. They two shops share a car park owned by ASDA. They have a time limit on your stay, which tbh I never really paid much attention to :o The result.......we stayed, I think, 45 mins longer than permitted and got a "breach of contract" charge for £60 through the post yesterday

Needless to say I gained valuable info on here regarding these private parking charges and have devised my own plan of action (which consists basically of not paying it ;) )

Best of it was I never got the said Mr Squiggles that day, but tracked him down, in Argos the next day for a tenner (and free parking:p)

 Too right, i'd refuse to pay it too, dont even get me started on these cowboys.

We had a similar experience a few months back, involving a bloody huge guy, hiding in a blacked out 4x4 clock watching, we literaly arrived back to the car 1 minute before our ticket expired but as he said we didnt drive of until 3 minutes later and even though we were in the car ready to go he slapped a parking ticket on our window.

We didnt pay it. They know where they can stick it.
