just had confirmation email about ordering 3 and it says that 3 have been bought and paid for and will be despatched soon. It was an honest mistake though coz i was that exited they was in stock and i panicked !!!!

oh no, after reserving a house in argos to collect tomorrow, we havent received an email, only got a number. Does that mean I wont get it?

They have only gone and changed their website after my complaint - stupid beggars. I still had the page live from this morning and have sent a screenprint back to them, calling them the cheats and asked for reimbursement for the adaptor as the product was described as coming with it and I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake.

Between the TRU/PayPal carry on that they are unwilling to resolve and this blatant attempt to deceive, I don't know whether I could ever give TRU another penny of mine.

Quick note to say that toyrus contacted me by pm here to say that the web change to correct the listing had arisen from them noting my earlier comments this morning and unfortunately the Customer Service teams had no visibility of that change.

Personally I think it is irrelevant what the product page says now and the Customer Service teams need some better training and access to what the listings were when the customer actually ordered to deal with the complaint.

That said, the ToysRus rep on here has made an offer to compensate me as a gesture of goodwill ... which I have accepted, subject to sorting out the payment.

I don't see it as goodwill however; I see it as completing the bargain that we mutually entered into.

OMG! somebody just paid £21 for num nums on ebay......he still in tock on tesco for less than half the price! Wish could post something on there saing " DON'T DO IT"!!

I got slide and wheel at Asda this morn. when I asked the man reckons they had more stock in depot awaiting despatch. ? more slides and wheels?

That happened to me, but when I went in store, my reservation was there! Dont panic! x
