Even argos are not able to deliver hamsters in a timely fashion. 6pm now and my hammies still not here......

Just rang argos and my hammies are not coming today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Van was too full................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


They will send them out tomorrow instead. At least they have refunded me the £5.80 delivery charge though.

Good job i picked up those extra 2 hammie from an argos store this morning. Am not feeling very confident now that the van delivery ones will ever arrive.............would be feeling very worried if i was relying on the van hammie for my dds.

Just to let you know i rang 'hooray for toys' today looking for accessories, they didnt have any but she did say that they had a couple of hamsters & houses-these are not showing online, so maybe worth trying to ring them tomorrow if you are still in need. Hope this helps someone & good luck to you all.x

NO postie is allowed to leave a parcel (unless with a neighbour and they leave you a card if you have specified this is ok altho it is not really allowed - Other couriers differ) - they should take it back to the depot for collection or re-delivery. My hubby is a postie and he is left in awkward situations sometimes when he knows something is important to be delivered (special or recorded) and that person is out. He WANTS to leave it for them but can't so he HAS to fill out a card instead.

I would complain to your local delivery office.

My TRU parcel got delivered today - I was in and my postie handed it to me but I didnt have to sign anything - I would guess TRU ARENT paying for recorded. The postage label just says Royal Mail packet post. By the way if you can designate a safe place at your property with your local delivery office - my parcels go in the kids playhouse if I'm out.

Confirmation of my TRU delivery has been received. I should be recieving my ball and skateboard tomorrow

best friend has just announced her son wants a hamster, car and garage (i think thats right) we have no chance really dont we?

that happened to me last week, i travelled to another store to pick them up and said they were not ready would i come back :mad: so i didand again they told me at 5 they were still not ready!!

did manage to get them in the end though
