Hi,

Just came across this thread and just wanted to say PLEASE check the boxes before wrapping them up for crimbo. I was lucky enough to get a Surfboard and sleepdome from TRU last weekend, and i've just opened it and there is no surfboard in the box. Its definitely a sleepdome and not a ball. TRU customer services were dreadful, so i've not got to drive the two hours back to Bristol to get my £9.99 back, it doesnt seem worth it given what i'd spend in petrol to get there. PLEASE please check.

I did however manage to order a carrier and a ball from Yorkshire toys.

To those who ordered from the Spanish site, I have received an email from El Cortes and they say that delivery will be mid december and apologise for any inconvenience caused because of the delay. Lets hope we get them before xmas.

Also have noticed that they have taken the big set off their website now.

Oh what a let down, how annoying for you. My surfboard and playball boxes came today - better go and check them. I cant believe they cant find one little surfboard for you - I guess they must have sold all their stock, you'll be hopping mad if they list any more!

They have told me thati can tell you that all they have left, is skateboards, surfboards, carriers and some fun houses.

Everything else has sold out.

The lady was very lovely and couldnt understand why the phones had gone metal until i told her that they were on MSE and she laughed.

They are limiting items to 3 per order, customer, address.

So no multiples orders from partners to the same address.


Stupidly i forgot to ask how much the things were but my email says that i have paid £19.99 each for a skateboard and surfboard :eek: thats double RRP and not much cheaper than ebay.

The retailers must think we're all nuts! Someone last night posted to say that ytc would be taking phone orders this morning so whoever that was- THANK YOU xxx

Those ordering from YTC, I ordered a Funhouse and it was well packaged, sent registered post and arrived quickly. They're charging a bit over rrp but would still recomend them if you cant wait!
