Are you only allowed to pick 2 up from Argos?

I was shopping in my local Sainsburys this morning, and took a quick stroll down the toy aisle on a 'just in case' basis. I spotted the hamster Surfboard and sleep dome on the shelf, one of which I already have safely tucked away ready for christmas. However, as I bent down to see how many there were in stock, I spotted that rarest of prizes - an Adventure ball tucked behind the surfboard box! Needless to say, that went straight into my trolley and went through the checkout at £11.99, so I came out of the supermarket with a big smile on my face despite the pouring rain.

Sadly it was the only one they had on the shelf, otherwise I would have been on here earlier to let everyone know. But maybe there is still hope for those of us out there who are still trying to find GoGo stuff

I think they are limiting them to 2 per person as when they were in stock the other day it only allowed to add 2 but it said there were over 5 available. I think after finding people selling the reservation numbers on Ebay and people buying in bulk to sell on Ebay they are being cautious.

is anyone going to be watching tru tomorrow morning? I am still looking for a wheel or slide.. but i have been told they will be nearly impossible to find this side of christmas! But its difficult to know what to think, so much contradictory advice!! I am a lucky parent, my children don't want things for Christmas (maybe that will come with age). My sister started this all off by buying my children the house and setting me a challenge to find a hamster!! Now I have a hamster, it would be nice for some add-ons..

So to get 3 you can't just reserve twice and go through the till twice?

I did this yesterday because I got 2 for me and 1 for a friend, but it nearly wasn't allowed. It depends who's serving you I guess, but their policy was definitely only 2 per customer, due to people selling on Ebay.

(I did it all in one go, I didn't go through the till twice. But collections had their eye on me too)

I know some people who needed more than 2 hamsters took their partners or a friend with them and bought separately. Some stores are stricter than others. They are just making sure the hamsters are going to genuine customers to supply the demand.
