I got my Chunk from Cuddys today and he is broken.:( His wheels turn round but he doesn't say anything! I have changed the batteries but he still refuses to talk! Luckily, when I phoned Mr Cuddy he has kept a couple of spares just in case and has another one to send to me once I send him back. Which is a huge relief!

On a more positive note, my parents who are on holiday in Spain have seen the big set from El Corte Ingles in stock in the local store. They can manage to fit it all in their luggage if they take it out of the box. I've told them to go ahead and do that. Just hoping it is still in stock when they go back!!

So fingers crossed by the middle of next week I should have everything we need. 4 hamsters, a house, wheel, slide, ball, skateboard and carrier. We should have 2 very excited little boys on Christmas morning!

I thought i'd finished my hammie hunting yesterday after a surprisingly pleasant and quick trip to toysrus to get the elusive ball. then i kept thinking about patches and the link that cleya had pm'd me for the spanish site. people started to mention that they received their spanish orders pretty quickly so i thought i may as well go for it- just patches on his own + shipping would cost more than that from usa on ebay.
i managed to get my order in pretty quickly thanks to the google translate tip and dora the explorer!!
anyway- here's hoping we all get the el patcho set :beer:

I didn't really get a cancellation email, I said that because we had an ebayer asking questions about the spanish site, was trying to throw them off the scent so that genuine parents could order rather than greedy profiteering trolls.
