    That's cos the Boots website had him listed as 'chuck' so I think anyone selling him who calls him chuck doesn't know anything about the range and is just purely in it for selling.

  • I think it is because the two toned hammies just look more like real ones....it is rare to find a real solid colour hamster...you'd be looking more at rats, mice or gerbils for a solid colour so maybe people think he looks more like a rat?

    I'd get the booby prize! I get too excited when I see them in stock and them my brain won't connect with my hands! I become a jibbering wreck! Hence only 1 hammie so far!!!
  • My sons real hamster is completely white, i would say like chunk, but this horrible thing has red eyes lol
    2010 resolutions
    1- get my 5yo DD dry daytime, with enuresis help dry since 12th Jan so far!
    2-Lose 3 stone inc giving birth :j baby born 11/02/10! lost 2 stone, 1 more to go!
    3- more moneysaving! sealed pot number 851 :) SAHM getting organised, dont wanna go back to work after mat leave :o :j

    Chunk is an albeano hamster, well thats what i say anyway, he's the double of our real hamster that saddly past away. So i have a soft spot for him.
