With ebay prices getting high on the wheel and me not wanting to give my one away I have taken the plunge and ordered one for my niece buying the set from the spanish site, can split the bits between all the kids as none of them except me (for my dd) have managed to get a full set so its not so bad. Fingers crossed this order transpires with no problems, then I can declare myself officially retired from this search!! If anyone else asks me to find them anything hamster related I have two words for them ........ ........ (fill in blanks as desired) :rotfl::rotfl:

Every morning between about 09.30ish & 10.00ish toys r us put a load of stock up for sale. Be quick and dont use paypal. My friend and I were lucky enough to get a ball at the first attempt (needed the wheel and got so excited I forgot to order it.....What a pillock)

I thought they were only doing this for a few days. Do you know how much longer they are doing it for?

Does the Spanish set definitely attach to the UK ones OK? It is very tempting considering what the wheels and slides are going for.

i gave my daughter pipsqueak today as she was having an operation, it made the whole day just about bearable and now pipsqueak is fast asleep next to a very happy little girl. for all the people who haven't managed to get any of the other items do not worry as the hamsters on their own are great fun.

Aw bless, I hope your daughters operation went well. Your post made me realize that these hamsters are not the be all and end all! There are far more important things in life.

I finally got a reservation for hammies at Argos for 2 of my friends who were desperate, so good luck everyone. Lets hope our kids spend as long playing with them as we did looking for them lol!
