www.harrods.com have got houses for 22.95. They've just listed a promotion on their website, whereby if you sign up for a rewards card, you get 10% off online and in store purchases. Online from 6th to the 8th of November and instore 7th to the 8th of november. Its also free delivery on orders over £50 (although some area restrictions apply).

I must admit I have sold a funhouse on Ebay, but not to make money! I sold it as A "BUY IT NOW" £29.99 inc postage. It got snapped up straight away. I paid £19.99 for it, First class recorded postage came to £5.20, ebay charged me £3.37, Paypal took £1.22 and I got 21p to cover the packaging!

But there will be a happy child (or adult) xmas morning!

If you read back on my earlier posts today, you'll see the Argos website was down overnight and they posted a code as an apology for the incovenience which enables anyone spending OVER £20 online before midnight tonight (Fri 6/11) free delivery. So if you wanted the car / garage (£14.99), which is the only thing for home delivery at the minute, without paying postage, you could always order something else you need to take you over the £20 and put the voucher code in on the payment page and you'll get delivery free (there's post by another person after mine giving the forum location for the code as I couldn't post it on this forum). Just a thought...

I checked before (during my usual daily trawl to keep myself amused) and all the hamsters were 'back soon' but you're right, when you actually click on the hamster, it does appear to have the add to basket options :T One thing I would say is that I ordered a couple of hamsters from here a few weeks ago and you can select 'delivery to your local store' which is free. So if you live near a wilkinsons, then you could select this option and you wouldn't have to pay postage.

    hi

yes, when i went onto website it says "back in stock soon" but when i clicked on mr squiggles it came up "add to basket" well i have ordered one for store collection so will have to see what happens, as i had confirmation email, but got error on last page of my order, have checked order history and it shows there, but i am still a bit dubious.

    thanks

  • Wilkinsons website is really messed up - put my order in online but wouldn't load the bank verification page. Called to order over the phone which was fine until the order was confirmed - then dropped a hamster off the order and the payments didn't add up - girl on the phone said I seemed to have store credit somehow??! Now investigating why and where my missing hamster has gone...

    Trauma!

    Nearly made a loss then!
  • I just wanted to thank everyone that's taken the time to post on this thread. Although I saw it when it first started (page 89 now ~ impressive work) it's only recently I decided to get the Hamsters for my 3 and 7 year old. My plan is to get them Hamster, bed and carrier each and then the funhouse and a few add ons to share.
I now have funhouse and 1 hamster (Argos) Ball, skateboard and surfboard (ToysRus in Reading), another Hamster and 2 pink beds (Sainsbury half price sale thanks to my cousin). 2 pink carriers hopefully coming from Character online and the wheel from ebay, found a good seller and it was retail price only plus P&P.
I think I am done!! Not sure who will be the most excited come Xmas.
Without all you taking the time to post I would be struggling on.
Much appreciated and I hope you all get what you want

About half an hour ago, Belmont Tesco in Hereford had one Pipsqueak, one Chunk and another one of one of those two (I can't remember which one, sorry) at £9.97 plus a skateboard at £19.97.
