i recall ordering a cd from play a few years back- i totally forgot about it and when i remembered a few months later, i emailed to ask what was going on and received the reply that they were unable to get hold of one and would never be able to! this was my first and last shopping experience with them and its a shame to see that nothings changed.

ooh thanks for this :T I'm going to give it a go in the morning if I can get daughter up and ready and out of the house in time, if not I'll try again Friday or Saturday (I feel tomorrow is going to be like a military operation ) ... I'll compensate myself with a Maccie D's for breakfast if it's a wasted trip.

RE Play.com; I've ordered from them lots of times, and have in fact ordered several CD's/Video Games as Christmas gifts. Touch wood... never had a problem with them. Hope i haven't just cursed myself. . .

I've never had a problem with dvds, cds, etc in fact my dvd's usually arrive the Saturday before they hit the shops but it now appears to be toys, etc which are causing a problem. I ordered a minnie mouse halloween costume for my little girl and it was due to arrive before halloween, I cancelled it about a week ago because it failed to show
