Not nearby but i dropped kids off last week and was there at 9.30 , Ancoats Manchester.

Are the beds / carriers in stock anywhere?
Even the handmade ones are selling quickly on ebay BIN.

I personally think the handmade ones are cuter as they're a bit different.

May ring a few isolated toystores if there are any but we do not have Asda or Toys R Us over here and our Argos has been oos forever. Once the items listed have sold out, I would advise keeping an eye on the website for a little while longer because they tend to go through the orders afterwards and if any need to be cancelled, then once they hit the cancellation button, then they are automatically put back on to the website.

:T Just managed to reserve 2 hamsters at a carlisle argos. :T

I had 2 hamsters and a house in my basket.
you get 1 hamster for £4.99 WYB the house.

When i first added them to my basket the stock check thing said:

Unable to check stock at this time, so i went to hit the button to select stores further afield, when i hit the box for the same store that it said were unable to check,

Surprise surprise it was saying there were 2 hamsters in stock. No house but it still said £14.98 - i had still given me the discount for 1 half price hamster.

So i reserved them and took a screenshot of my page (just in case i dont get the price i reserved at which is pretty common, then i'll argue it.)

So with the speculation that argos are getting 1000's of hammies in keep trying.

Anyone else starting to think this is only going to get worse as we get into december? It seems retailers are more interested in getting the hamsters in than anything to go with them?!

I really would like a ball now as my little boy (who I havent bought any of this for) has started saying "go go" "car" "slide" and "ball" when he sees the advert. I can hit play on the Youtube advert, and he comes running!!!! He is not quite 2yrs old and is hardly talking as it is, so to hear him come out with those words is cute but scary at the same time!

Would like to get the ball so I have the 3 things he can now say - even if his big sisters will probably ban him from playing with any of it!!! (but what he does while they are at nursery and school is secret LOL)

I received my house from Hooray for Toys today, plus not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5 YES 6 hamsters :rotfl:Oops.
