They've just phoned up to say that there is no stock in the John Lewis Partnership. They are awaiting stock, and when it comes in it will go straight to their website.
The lady seemed quite bemused by all the fuss over these furry little critters, and seemed almost embarassed to admit that until last week she'd never heard of them...
I too love John Lewis, their customer service is second to none. I emailed a load of online companies yesterday re Go Go Hamster stock and they were the only company who bothered to reply........ albiet only to say they were awaiting stock but couldn't say when they were expecting it, but at least they replied. You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

It looks like you can buy a boat and dock (part of the new 2010 range) on world wide shopping mall for £19.99 ????I spent last year hunting for a battery operated hamster! I wonder what elusive gift this christmas will bring :eek:0

Over a week ago I ordered a hamster from Boots and didn't realise that a Digital Camera and disk that had been half price 2 weeks before was still in my basket and I checked out quickly and was charged full price for the camera and disk, I had to go to Boots last week to take it back. I assumed that things came out of your basket when you logged off but obviously not with Boots.
Whoopsie! - at least you were able to take it back otherwise that would have been the most expensive hammy yet!
Anything that you put in our basket @ Boots stays there until you remove it I believe - but you know that now!0 -

My hubby is a postie and they ARE NOT allowed to leave parcels on the doorsteps etc. I would ring your local sorting office and complain - they will know who is on that round today and hopefully will reprimand him/her!! Not sure about Couriers as it depends who it was i suppose.
I am lucky in that all the posties know me cause of hubby so they either deliver to me at work or at home on weekends regardless of which address is on the parcel!
Glad you got them courtesy of neighbour thoughCost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
